Material:Tungsten carbide and High-speed steel

Tungsten steel (Cemented Carbide) has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, better strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Its high hardness and wear resistance remain basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500°C, and it still has high hardness at 1000°C. The main components of tungsten steel are tungsten carbide and cobalt, and other metals account for 1%, which makes it extremely high hardness and wear resistance.

Tungsten steel has a wide range of applications and is commonly used in high-precision machining, high-precision cutting tool materials, lathes, percussion drill bits, glass cutter bits, tile cutters and so on. Because of its hardness, not afraid of annealing, but brittle characteristics, tungsten steel is also commonly used in the production of high-temperature-resistant moulds and tools.

High speed steel (HSS) is a tool steel with high hardness, high wear resistance and high heat resistance, also known as high speed tool steel or sharp steel, commonly known as white steel.

HSS has good process performance, good strength and toughness, so it is mainly used to manufacture complex thin-edged and impact-resistant metal cutting tools, but also high-temperature bearings and cold extrusionmoulds, etc.

Accuracy

The most crucial factor ensuring the durability and service life of a mold is precision. And every one of our

The split mold achieves a very high added value and long service life through high-precision machining at 1/1000mm.

At the same time, it saves time for replacing damaged molds, contributing to the reduction of production costs.

Surface finishing

The surface finish is inversely proportional to the corrosion performance. The lower the finish is, the worse the corrosion resistance is. The higher the finish, the better the abrasion resistance, but too high may lead to difficult oil storage and increased friction. The surface finish affects the fit strength, and a small finish may cause the performance of the mating parts to decline, wear to increase, and clearance to increase.

In the metal surface processing of parts, it is the key to follow the process requirements and improve the metal surface finish with high quality, but the cost shall be comprehensively considered to avoid additional economic losses. Surface finish is closely related to part performance, which is of great significance to improve machining quality and extend service life.
