Material:Tungsten carbide and High-speed steel

Tungsten steel (Cemented Carbide) has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, better strength and toughness, heat resistance and corrosion resistance. Its high hardness and wear resistance remain basically unchanged even at a temperature of 500°C, and it still has high hardness at 1000°C. The main components of tungsten steel are tungsten carbide and cobalt, and other metals account for 1%, which makes it extremely high hardness and wear resistance. 

 

Tungsten steel has a wide range of applications and is commonly used in high-precision machining, high-precision cutting tool materials, lathes, percussion drill bits, glass cutter bits, tile cutters and so on. Because of its hardness, not afraid of annealing, but brittle characteristics, tungsten steel is also commonly used in the production of high-temperature-resistant moulds and tools.
